Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence
The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to recognizing and encouraging academic excellence in Oklahoma’s public schools.
Through its Academic Awards Program, the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence presents $175,000 annually in cash awards to honor outstanding public school students as Academic All-Staters and educators as Medal for Excellence recipients.
With its Oklahoma School Foundations Network, OFE provides free training, resources and networking opportunities to public school foundation leaders statewide.
OFE also administers mentoring grants to promote the establishment and growth of quality K-12 mentoring programs throughout Oklahoma.
In addition to serving as an administrative partner for Fund for Teachers, OFE partners with the Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute on another professional development opportunity for educators. The program sends Oklahoma fifth- and eighth-grade educators to the renowned teacher institute each summer to deepen their knowledge of early American history.
